Anastasia Aquamania Waterpark Protaras

Small but interesting place to pass much of the day! 

The waterpark is located in Anastasia Hotel and is small but has seven water slides, a lazy river and pools. There is also a children’s area for younger children to play in.

Profitis Helias church, Protaras

It’s really worth climbing up the steps to the hill of Profitis Helias church and gazing at the magnificent view!

The church sits atop a hill that overlooks the town and its vicinity. It was constructed in 1984 instead of a destroyed church that previously stood there. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes and painted plates.

The church is illuminated in the evenings.

Profitis Helias-Konnos Nature trail offers panoramic views from Profitis Elias Chapel.

It runs past Agioi Saranta and Agios Ioannis Chapels and ends at Konnos beach, linking up with the Panagia – Agioi Saranta, Panagia – Agios Ioannis, Konnos – Agioi Anargyroi and Konnos – Spilia tou Kyklopa (Cyclops’ Cave) trails. Start Point: Profitis Elias chapel at Protaras area. Access from Cape Gkreko – Paralimni main road. End Point: Konnos beach, between Protaras area and Cape Gkreko. Estimated Duration: 3 hours Difficulty Rate: Category 1: Easy trail, with gentle gradient. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Trip Length: 8,5 kilometres
